Head of Group Synthesis Products: Separation and Production Technologies
Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE
Speaker at:
- Green Ammonia – New Technologies for Production and Application
15:30-
Malte Semmel studied Chemical Engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Technical University of Denmark (DTU) before doing his PhD at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in the field of Power-to-Liquids. Since 2024 he is the head of the group “Separation and production technologies”. His work is located at the interface between catalysis and separation to develop novel efficient processes in the field of Power-to-Liquids. Particularly, his focus is on the energy carriers methanol, ammonia, dimethyl ether and sustainable aviation fuel.
