After obtaining a degree in electrical engineering from Dortmund University, Guido König joined SAMSON AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT in 1993 to start his career in Technical Sales for district heating solutions. In 1997, he assumed responsibility for marketing smart fieldbus control valves. From 2002 to 2012, Guido König worked internationally as Senior Marketing Manager at SAMSON and later became head of Product Management and Marketing for control instrumentation. In July 2016, he transferred to SAMSON’s new Digital Transformation unit as Senior Business Innovation Manager. In February 2019, he joined the Industrial Management unit, where he was named head of Focus Industries in September 2021. His focus is on sustainable industry sectors.
