Ítalo Tadeu de Carvalho Freitas Filho holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (Polytechnic School PE), an MBA in Finance from the University of Murcia (Spain) and a master’s degree in Energy and Environment from Unicamp. He was CEO of AES Brazil from 2016 to 2021 and held the position of Vice President of New Business for South America and New AES International Solutions, from 2021 to 2023. He currently holds the Vice Presidency of Commercialization and Energy Solutions at Eletrobras, an assignment assumed in October 2023 concurrently with the Vice Presidency of Expansion Engineering, a position he held from April to December 2023.
