The official hydrogen event in Rotterdam spoke to the world’s hydrogen and energy leaders about the future outlook for the hydrogen industry, including Market Communication Specialist from COWI A/S, Nanna Birkedal.

Why is the World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition unique?
I think this platform is an amazing opportunity for networking. There’re so many people here moving towards the same direction, and we all have pretty much the same goal. So, it’s just a matter of helping each other out and finding the right synergies.
What is your key message to audiences world-wide?
My message as a COWI employee is to show people that we are here. And that we’re able to help them with the green transition and how we can accelerate it together with our customers.
What does the future hold for Hydrogen?
Hydrogen definitely has a future. It’s just a matter right now of scalability and making it happen faster because we’re on a burning platform and we already have a lot of pilot projects, and we see them growing and growing. But I think together with our customers we can really make it move faster.
What is your biggest takeaway from the event?
I think the most important key take away here is that we are a lot of people moving in the same direction. We want this to happen, but we need to be able to work together and find the right synergies. And that’s what this is for, it’s for networking and you know making the right contacts so we can make it happen.
