Eddy Kuperus works as Business Development Manager at Gasunie. He holds a MSc in Petroleum and Reservoir Engineering from IFP in Paris and a BSc in Drilling and Production Technologies from the Hogeschool Noorder Haaks in Den Helder. Eddy is a senior professional with international experience in subsurface engineering, project management, business development and operations. He has been active over 3 decades in various roles throughout the oil-and gas industry, with in the last 15 years primarily focus on underground gas storage activities of methane in porous media and salt caverns, as well as CCS and hydrogen storage. In his position as business development manager hydrogen storage, he is responsible for the initiation and realization of hydrogen storage projects in Netherlands and Germany. Eddy has strong affinity with the renewable energy and the development and implementation of new technologies.
