Marius Holst began working at the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE in 2014. He initially focused on developing simulation models, analyzing hydrogen injection into the natural gas grid, and modeling hydrogen refueling processes. Later, he explored the potential of utilizing waste heat from electrolysis processes and conducted a techno-economic analysis of electrolytic hydrogen production based on volatile renewable energy sources. Currently, his focus is on performing techno-economic analyses of hydrogen supply chains. He is the main developer of the Fraunhofer ISE internal simulation toolbox, H2ProSim (Hydrogen Process Simulation).
