Nizam joined Masdar in 2021 and leads on the development and execution of green hydrogen projects at Masdar, the UAE’s clean energy champion.

Mr Salem has 25 years’ experience in managing complex large-scale energy and infrastructure projects internationally. His engineering and technological expertise has been instrumental in achieving breakthroughs in the green hydrogen and derivatives space, thanks to an extensive track record in designing and realizing brownfield and greenfield EPC projects in upstream and downstream energy sectors.

Mr Salem holds two Master’s Degrees; one in Refining, Engineering, and Gas, from the ENSPM – IFP Energies Nouvelles (Paris), and one in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Balamand.
