Roy Niekerk has 23+ year experience in heat transfer in various techno-commercial roles. He obtained deep engineering know-how in his role as heat transfer engineer in Shell Global Solutions where he supported projects such as Canada LNG and Prelude FLNG. Another part of his role was leading heat transfer related innovation initiatives. One of those activities was investigating improved efficiency and size of cryogenic heat exchangers in FLNG through 3D printing.

In 2017 he joined KTS first as Business Development Director primarily to put new, innovative products into the market. Since beginning of this year, Roy Niekerk took up the role to lead KTS’ business in hydrogen and new engegies.
