Samira Barakat is on the Management Team of the Wind Division of Vattenfall, responsible for Strategy, Digitalization and Partnerships. She is also the Managing Director for Vattenfall Europe Windkraft GmbH.

Samira Barakat has worked internationally for most of her career, from the UK to the Middle East. She joined Vattenfall 5 years ago, from DB Schenker where she was responsible for Strategy globally. She holds a PhD in physics from the University of Cambridge.
