Sonia is Director of Hydrogen Technology at Microsoft. She is responsible for development and implementing a global hydrogen energy strategy to meet Microsoft sustainability goals and identifying opportunities and deploying new hydrogen technologies at scale to enable datacenter growth.

Sonia holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management with over 20 years of experience in energy industry and has led cross functional teams in delivering complex projects.

She is committed to addressing global warming by delivering zero-emissions solution while keeping a focus on safety, growth, and availability.
