Mr. Gamal Eldien brings over 25-years of experience within the spectrum of Investment Management/Banking/Real Estate and financial markets in addition to working previously within the Egyptian government. In August 2022, Gamal Eldien was appointed as  Chairman of Suez Canal Economic Zone after serving previously from Jan 2020 as the CEO and from May 2022 as Vice Chairman for Investment & Promotion of the zone. Previous to that he assumed several roles within private sector companies and banks in the United Arab Emirates for over 16 years. Prior to that, held several posts within Egypt Banking sector and at the Ministry of Economy & Foreign Trade. Gamal Eldien served on the BOD of several companies within the MENA & EU regions. He holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering & Quantitative Analysis from ICMA Centre – Henley Business School, University of Reading – United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Commerce – Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shames University.
